News Ticker: Energy, Gas And Oil Exhibition - EGO Pakistan Rescheduled Due To Punjab Floods

EGO Pakistan will reschedule from 15th to 17th October at the Lahore Expo Center according to press statement by CEO FAKT Exhibitions Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli due to the Floods and political instability.

Karachi: FAKT Exhibitions (Private) Limited is organizing EGO Pakistan – The 3^rd International Energy, Gas, Oil and Power Exhibition & Conference, which was scheduled from 18^th to 20^th September 2014.

In press statement FAKT Exhibitions CEO Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli said that due to the Floods in Punjab and ongoing political dharnas in Islamabad the event has been delayed for a month and now will be held from 15^th to 17^th October at the Lahore Expo Center.

He said, “Pakistan is currently facing a difficult time. On one side the ongoing Dharna’s in Islamabad have paralyzed the capital for almost a month now, while on the other hand the floods in Punjab have caused a catastrophe and blocked roads in rural Punjab.”

EGO Pakistan- Energy, Oil, Gas & Power Exhibition Pakistan, is the benchmark event in the energy sector, which brings the energy resources and decision makers on one platform. Apart from the conventional sources of energy generation like oil & gas, the exhibition also capitalizes on the non-conventional renewable energy sources that are abundantly available in Pakistan like wind, solar, biomass, and coal.
