The international nonprofit NFPA will hold its third annual Mexico Fire & Safety Expo at the Centro Banamex, Mexico City. This event represents a global NFPA event that brings together fire, security and electrical safety professionals from Mexico.
The Expo will feature exhibitors offering products and services for all aspects of fire protection, life, security and electrical safety in Mexico, including access control, building materials, extinguishing equipment, and sprinkler systems. With sessions presented by internationally-recognized experts, the conference program will provide a variety of issues such as detection and suppression systems, storage tanks protection, hazmat and detoxification, fires on aircraft, high-rise fires, life safety, smoke control, suppression with foam, and performance-based fire protection engineering. In addition to the exposition and fire & life safety conference, NFPA will be holding a NEC Forum. This year the new Electrical Installations standard (PROY-NOM-001-SEDE-2003, based on the 1999 edition of the NEC) went into effect, making the NEC forum a vital conference for the industry attracting hundreds of participants.
