Description
The countries in South-East Europe no matter they are EU members or not, they are all aiming in becoming a part of the vision of the European recycling society. The governments across the Region are updating their national legislations and regulations, as well as are modernizing the old infrastructure which includes the creation of regional waste disposal systems, construction and exploitation of large scale waste and wastewater treatment plants, etc.
The exhibitors displayed their innovative solutions and services. There was a group participation from Austria, which was a Strategic Partner of the event. The exhibition was visited by state administration and municipality representatives; investors; managers and experts in different sectors: construction, energy, ecology, chemical industry, finance; associations etc. THE CONFERENCE 2011 33 speakers from 20 countries took part in the conference. The program included themes that are primarily oriented towards investors and municipalities: Policy Framework for Waste Prevention and Recycling, Waste Management, Advanced Waste Treatment Technologies, Landfill, Trends in Recycling Technologies, etc.
