Jim Pauley was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in 2014. NFPA is the world's leading advocate of fire protection and an authoritative source on public safety. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Pauley served as Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Government Relations - Schneider Electric where he was responsible for state and federal legislative and regulatory policy and oversaw the Schneider Electric relationship with government officials and agencies. He had responsibility for the Schneider Electric strategy and participation in trade and industry associations, standards organizations and conformity assessment bodies.
