China's crude stainless steel arrived at 8.8 million tones in 2009, and is expected to surpass the new level of 10.5 million tones in 2010, for which the apparent consumption will arrive at 9 million tones. The world stainless steel production in 2010 is estimated to create the new high of 30 million tones as well.
