The Tanzania Buildex 2015, International Trade Exhibition to be held from 29th - 31st January 2015 at Mlimani Conference Centre, Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania. The event attracts visitors from all over East & Central Africa while exhibitors participate from over 20 countries. Visitors from the African countries would include Kenya,Sudan, Ethiopia, Mozambique & Zaire, Nigeria, Egypt & South Africa. A vast range of products would be displayed

Tanzania Buildex 2014 achieved a total number of 70 International and national exhibitors from 16 countries showcasing their company profiles and services. Tanzania Buildex hosted a total number of 7,150 attendees that consisted of national and international visitors coming from East African counties. Moreover, the event attracted 16 official delegates from 10 counties.

Tanzania is the biggest of the East Africa countries (i.e. Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania)

The valley is dotted with unique lakes which includes Lakes Rukwa, Tanganyika, Nyasa, Kitangiri, Eyasi and Manyara
The uplands includes the famous Kipengere, Udzungwa, Matogoro, Livingstone, and the Fipa plateau forming the southern highlands. The Usambara, Pare, Meru, Kilimanjaro etc.

  1. In the end of the 20th century, manufacturing activities in Tanzania have exemplified a steady growth, registering average annual growth of over 4 percent
  2. Nevertheless, manufacturing activities in Tanzania, are relatively small and at an infancy stage
  3. Its contribution to GDP has averaged 8% over the last decade, with most activities concentrated on manufacture of simple consumer goods - food, beverages, tobacco, textiles and furniture and wood allied products
  4. Most of the present industries were established in the light of import substitution strategy, whereas production focused in substituting previously imported goods in view of saving the country meagre foreign exchange.
