Intelligent charging, strive for a green future C-Power is launched as a nod to the growing interest in the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry. According to the China Automobile Manufacturers Association, 34,440 NEV were produced during the first quarter of 2015, three times more compared to the same period in 2014. Various national policies are implemented to further push the growth of electric automobile market in China. In its current five-year plan, the Chinese government aims to increase the ownership of battery-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles to five million by 2020. In July 2014, a mandate was announced that at least 30% of government-owned vehicles are to be electric, plug-in or hybrid. In addition, local cities are implementing provisional regulations to support the growing demand of new energy vehicles.
